Marten Claridge is a healthy 50 years old and lives in the south side of Edinburgh. He's written all his adult life and has had three of his novels published. You can find out more about them here.

Although currently 'between agents and publishers' he is constantly honing his graphic and website design skills, and can now design custom websites in standards compliant HTML and CSS. Although multi-platform proficient he's been using Macs for almost 20 years and is an unrepentant enthusiast.

In the evening he writes and reads. His favourite authors are Reginald Hill, Len Deighton, John Le Carre, James Lee Burke, Elmore Leonard, Martin Cruz Smith, James W Hall, Thomas Harris, Raymond Chandler, Carl Hiaasen, Philip K Dick, Kurt Vonnegut.

His immediate ambition is to write for a living and design for fun.
